History
of
Cybercity
First,
everything
before
Cybercity
is
B.C. On
Saturday,
March
23,
1997,
at
7PM
Central,
these
words
began
their
travel
across
the
universe,
emanating
from
the
four
giant
towers
at
one
of
the
oldest
major
radio
stations
in
the
country,
KTSA
AM
550,
on
Eisenhauer
Rd.
in
San
Antonio,
Texas, "Hello,
this
is
Jack
Landman
and
you
are
listening
to
Cybercity." In
1998,
Cybercity
expaneded
to
three
hours
of
live
guests
and
calls-in
on
Saturday
nights.
In
2001,
Cybercity
moved
to
Sunday
nights. In
2003,
Cybercity
left
KTSA
and
became
an
internet
only
program.

In
June,
2003
Cybercity
signed
off
at
KTSA
as
the
station
decided
to
provide
infommercials
in
its
place. Two
months
later,
Cybercity
re-emerged
on
the
internet. In
March,
2004,
Cybercity
joined
the
IBC
Radio
Network
and
can
now
be
received
on
radio
stations,
shortwave,
cell
phones
and
the
internet. All
IBC
programs
are
transmitted
24
hours
a
day,
seven
days
a
week
by
satellite.
